About

My name is Timothy Clark. I am a Cape Cod-based designer pursuing architecture licensure in Massachusetts. I am drawn to materiality and I am particularly interested in site-specific residential architecture and traditional, agrarian buildings forms rooted in New England and Cape Cod history. My design aesthetic is modern and I am attuned to locality, topography and geographic conditions.

I earned a Master of Architecture degree from the Graduate School of Architecture, Planning & Preservation at Columbia University; an advanced certificate in the Shape of Two Cities: New York and Paris from Columbia GSAPP; and a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Boston College. I am skilled in Rhinoceros, AutoCAD, VRay, Adobe Creative Suite and some Revit.

I studied tectonics and the poetics of construction under Columbia GSAPP Ware Professor of Architecture Kenneth Frampton, and design under Professor of Architecture and Founder of the Urban Design Lab at Columbia’s Earth Institute Richard Plunz. I am passionate about tactile approaches to design.

Prior to my architectural pursuits, I was a professional publicist at Boston College for 10 years.
